After losing my job, I found myself struggling when my car broke down and I didn't have any money to take it to the mechanic. After a bit of investigating, I determined that my water pump was the source of my problems and decided that I would replace it on my own. I'll admit, this first attempt at DIY auto repairs did not go as well as expected, but after 2 days of pulling my hair out, I finally got my new water pump installed. The sense of accomplishment I felt inspired me to learn more about auto repairs and try to tackle larger repair projects on my own. Today, I still rely on my mechanic for any major repairs, but I perform most minor repairs and maintenance on my own. It is my hope that the information on this website will allow you to do the same.
